At BMI we work for a better future, which is why we join a project together with the Ser Feliz Foundation, which helps more than 400 boys and girls with cancer each year. This initiative promotes recycling and nutrition of the little ones.
How does it work?
BMI employees collect plastic bottle caps, which they gather in their day to day, either at work or at home. Later, these caps become nutritional supplements for the children of the Ser Feliz Foundation.

Brokers and providers are also invited to carry out this action, in order to generate a positive impact in the world. Since, according to Greenpeace, a plastic lid can take 1,000 years to decompose. In addition, it will be possible to feed the hearts of the children and young people of the Ser Feliz Foundation.
Benefits of recycling on the planet
Recycling is a positive action because it saves energy, since you don't have to create products from scratch. In fact, a study shared by Greenpeace indicates that the total energy savings from recycling PET plastic is 79 % and 88 % for polypropylene (a material commonly used in plastic lids). Also, it reduces carbon emissions, which allows us to breathe cleaner air and take care of the ozone layer.
