   BMI Access was created with you in mind. If you or your family live in Latin America or the Caribbean, we offer you Health Insurance Plans with coverage throughout the world. Most health insurance policies cover the basics. At BMI we take the reins in unexpected situations so you don't have to. Unforeseen medical expenses require additional support and guidance, which is why we created BMI Access. All cardholders will have 24 × 7 access to our medical coordinators at no additional cost. We will provide help and support from the process of requesting second medical opinions to everything related to transportation and coordination of appointments with doctors in the United States.

  • When serious health problems arise, a second opinion is often required. With more than 20,500 specialty physicians through World Care, we can help you confirm or correct the original diagnosis, as well as treatment recommendations in the United States or in your country of residence.

  • Choose any city in the United States and we will help you find the specialist for the specific medical condition, medical appointments and the best follow-up for your subsequent appointments.
• Hospital Coordination 
  • In the city of your choice within the United States, we will help you choose the best hospital including admission, coordination of procedures and discharge from the hospital.

• Transport service
  • When you're going to be admitted to a hospital within the United States, finding transportation doesn't have to be on your to-do list. We will provide you with personalized transportation from the airport to the hotel or hospital. 
• Medical Appointments

  • In partnership with OptumRx, the largest pharmaceutical network in the United States, our members will be able to obtain incredible discounts at more than 67,000 pharmacies. We will help you in obtaining the medications you need if they are not available in your country of residence. 
• Accommodation Services
  • A place to stay while receiving medical treatment in the United States should be the last concern on your mind. We will coordinate and reserve the hotel or apartment, for you and your companions, near the hospital where you are receiving treatment, for short and long-term stays. 
• Special services
  • We will take care of any need you may require while you are in the United States, such as:
    • Recovery equipment: wheelchair, post-surgical bed, portable oxygen, crutches or vaporizer.
    • Special Care: Nurse, home physical therapy or other services such as car rental reservations or mobile phone rental.
    • Coordination of routine exams anywhere in the world.
