After the eruption of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala, where unfortunately many people were left unprotected, BMI organized a series of activities to help some of the victims of this natural catastrophe.
The intention of our colleagues was not only to make a material contribution, they also sought to bring a little joy, hope and human warmth. The volunteer efforts of our company were added to the actions that government agencies and different Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have been carrying out since the disaster occurred, these actions were carried out in a temporary shelter that supports 600 victims.
In addition to providing food, activities designed especially for the children of the affected communities were carried out; With music, games, contests and costumes, it was possible to live a moment of joy with the little ones, lightening the emotional burden of a situation as difficult as the one they are experiencing.
We hope that, with the support of civil society, the government and companies with a humanitarian vision, the condition of these people will improve as soon as possible.
