The mission of the UMA foundation is to offer comprehensive community and individual assistance and care to homeless children, adolescents and the elderly through a network of volunteers and comprehensive care centers that provide them with tools to improve their quality of life.
Mother Teresa of Calcutta inspired UMA in her disinterested and unconditional love and today it has a large network of volunteers in Miami and Venezuela, who at such a difficult time for all Venezuelans, are active in sowing hope and trying to ensure that the dreams of the children do not stay in the air. BMI is proud to be part of this project and to be able to support UMA at such a crucial moment for all Venezuelans.
Our contribution is directed to the UMA Farm Comprehensive House, which provides care to 3 houses: one for children from 5 to 18 years old in a situation of social risk, and that offers them an environment of values, home and family; the second with the aim of offering a home to neglected grandmothers and grandfathers in an environment of love, joy and respect; Finally, the third, called Comedor de la Esperanza, offers care to the indigent population nationwide through the delivery of food, medicine, and clothing.
Together we are more! Help us in our effort to continue changing lives. You can also support UMA by donating non-perishable food and basic necessities for children, adolescents and grandparents or by purchasing some of the UMA Products. You can make your donation here.
